For catalogs, they are set up in a way that allows you to view content within the Active catalog based on their date start, and for most customers, catalog activation date.
If you have a catalog that you are working on that is not yet published, and you would like to see content within that catalog as it will be when it goes live - we'll need to make an adjustment to your catalog config to allow that future content to display.
For example, if today's date were January 1, 2024, and you are working on a catalog that will not go live until July 1, 2024.
You can submit a support request to have the config adjusted to allow the future content to display as you work within it. We would simply make the adjustment to:
{
"field": "catalogActivationDate",
"operator": "lte",
"value": "$$endDate"
},;Prior to publication (when the catalog becomes active), the catalog would then need to be set back to the original setting, so that future content no longer displays. A support request will need to be sent to our team at this time to request the setting be changed back to the original setting:
{
"field": "catalogActivationDate",
"operator": "lte",
"value": "$$__NOW"
},;This process would be repeated for each future catalog you wanted to preview prior to publication.
If you have any further questions about displaying future content within a catalog, please reach out to our Support Team.
