If you have been designated as a reviewer (Approve, Acknowledge, or Task step) on a Kuali Build form, you will be notified by email when you have a submission to review.
You will also be able to see forms you need to approve or acknowledge from your Action List.
When assigned an Approval you will be able to approve, deny, or send back the submission to the submitter or a previous reviewer. Approvals will pause all other steps in a workflow until a decision has been made.
When assigned a Task you will be able to mark complete or send back the submission to the submitter or a previous reviewer. Tasks will pause all other steps in a workflow until a decision has been made.
When assigned an Acknowledgement you will simply be able to indicate that you have seen the form. Unlike an approval, an acknowledgement does not pause the workflow until the submission has been reviewed. The workflow process will continue on with any subsequent steps. If the workflow completes before the Acknowledgement can be taken it will cancel outstanding Acknowledgements.
