If using Kuali authentication to access Kuali (not your local single sign-on SSO), then you can reset your login password with the below instructions as either an individual user (to reset your own password) or as a system admin to reset a password for another user.
Note: If you are using your local institutional authentication (i.e. the University single sign-on) for access to Kuali products, then you would need to use the reset password process for your institutional login.
User Reset
- From the landing page, click on your name in the top right-hand corner.
- Select My Account.
- On your user account info page, click on the Edit button.
- Enter in your new password.
- Re-enter the same password.
- Click Save.
Admin Reset
As a System Administrator you will have access to view and edit any user in the system via the People & Groups option in the system menu.
- From the landing page, click on the three dot menu option in the top left-hand corner.
- Select People & Groups.
- Select People tab and search for desired user.
- Click on the Edit button.
- Enter in a new password.
- Re-enter the same password.
- Click Save.
Note: If Single Sign-on (SSO) has ever been enabled at your institution and the user has logged in via a local SSO then you will not be able to manually update the user's password (it will not save the update) and you will need to contact Kuali support for assistance.
