Sending a PDF Export of a Submitted Form

• Enable PDF Export
• Configure the Notification Step

Enable PDF Export

During the workflow process, you can include a PDF of a submitted form. To include the PDF,  it will need to be enabled within the Form Settings.

• Within an app, select the Form tab.
• Click on Form Settings at the top right of the screen
• Check the box next to Allow the exporting of documents in this app.

Once enabled, you will be able to include a PDF copy of the completed form and its associated comments in a Notification email.

Configure the Notification Step

A PDF export of a submitted form can be emailed to someone during the workflow process by configuring a Notification Step (for more information see Notification Step).

Once you have added a Notification Step to your workflow, enable the Notification Step setting Attach PDF of the Completed Document by checking the box. 

If you wish for the workflow status and associated comments to be included in the PDF sent via the Notification email, be sure to enable the setting Include workflow status in PDF. 

Note: All information within the form will be included in the exported PDF; including Sections marked 'Office Use Only'.
