We are writing to give you a heads up on changes and improvements that are coming soon to the support portal for Kuali Build - below outlines the changes which will occur on 2/18/24.
1. Our Support Portal is changing URLs - it will now be found at https://kuali.zendesk.com/ (previously https://kuali-build.zendesk.com):
We’ll soon be introducing many of the features of Build into new versions of our Ready, Research, and CM products. Having one place to manage documentation for shared functionality will make it easier to find what you’re looking for. Please update any bookmarks you may have! With this change we will be moving any outstanding Build tickets and any solved tickets that were created/updated this year to the new Support Portal under ‘My Activities’. If you ever want a full list of your prior tickets for reference we can generate that for you upon request.
2. Updating our Community forums to Community Circles - We want our community forums to be a place where users in different administrative areas (like HR, Student Services, and Research Administration) can connect, collaborate, and share knowledge. Kuali Circles is a relaunch that will put you and your users at the center of the discussion. Our first set of Circles will include areas that align with our existing products and topics that we know folks are using Build to help solve:
Additionally, we are introducing a “Jobs” circle to help our amazing customers find incredible talent when they need to add to their teams. The Jobs circle will be viewable to people who aren’t logged in, allowing you to get the most exposure from your posts.
We will expand the concept to any area, general or specific, where we see a significant number of you spending time, creating apps, or providing feedback. You are also welcome and encouraged to suggest new Circles that align with your interests and areas of expertise. Also, your original community posts are being moved to one of the above Circles. Please also see the Using Kuali Circles Community article for more information and the full Circles announcement here. Be sure to 'follow' the Circle topics you're interested in to stay part of the conversation!
3. Account Creation for all App Admins - We want App Admins to be more engaged and have the ability to contribute to the new Circles community so we’ll be proactively creating accounts for them if they don’t have one already. App admins will get an email in the next couple of days about their new accounts and to verify and complete set-up for their profile. If there are any additional users you would like to have access you can request an account here. Also, if you no longer have the account setup email you can use the ‘forgot password’ option on login to finish setting up your account.
4. New Enhancement Process - Previously new feature suggestions could be posted in our Community Ideas forum, submitted as support tickets, or discussed directly with your CS representative. We want to streamline that process and create a single place where you can make requests. You can now utilize our new Feature Idea Request App to send in your suggestions. Prior submissions on the Ideas Community topic or via support tickets have all been forwarded to our product team so you don’t need to resubmit. Also, additional information on the process can be found in the Feature Idea Process article.
