Different options are available for documents depending upon where you access them from, and the permissions that have been set.
Action List
The Action List is where you can find all of the actions in Kuali that have been assigned to you from workflows but are incomplete.
The primary purpose of the Action List is to provide a list of items that you need to take an action on in some way - such as approving or acknowledging a document. The Action Requested column will indicate what is needed from you, and clicking on the document will take you to it to complete the action. You can see more information about the Action List here.
My Documents
The Submitted area provides a list of documents that you have submitted, including their status in the workflow process. From here you are also able to take a few actions on submitted forms, such as withdrawing or duplicating them.
The Drafts area houses forms that you have begun but have not yet submitted. You are able to see when the form was created and how much time has elapsed since then. By clicking on the form name, you are also able to make changes, submit, or discard the document.
If the App Administrator has provided access for you to see the Workflow Status, this may also be visible for you as well.
The primary purpose is for you to be able to see documents you have created and submitted. You can see more information regarding My Documents here.
Document List
The Document List is a repository of all the documents created and submitted within an app. When a form has been filled out and submitted, it becomes a document ready to manage. This section is available to App Administrators and is used for managing all documents within the app - whether they were created by you or not.
While the documents in this section can be managed, requests for approvals will still need to be managed from the Action List. You can see more information regarding the Document List here.
