We’ve updated the search logic in the Document List to return more precise results.
What changed?
Search now shows results that include all of your search terms, instead of matching just one.
Example:
Before: Searching “Computer Engineering” returned results with Computer or Engineering
Now: Results must include both Computer and Engineering
Also, we're putting a stronger prioritization for Title field matches. Results now give more weight to matches in the Title field. If a record’s title matches your search, it will appear higher in the list.
What this means for you
You may see fewer results
Results will be more relevant to your search
Some items you previously saw may no longer appear
How to get the best results
Try searching one keyword at a time
Use shorter or more general terms if results seem limited
Run multiple searches to explore broader results
More information on search logic can be found in the Understanding Search Functionality article.
